The First Annual "Swim for Miles" Fundraiser


Swimmers of all ages coming together to support East Shore families in need

When: Sunday October 24 • 12:00pm - 4:00pm

Where: The Soundview YMCA Route 1 in Branford

What: 12:00 – 2:00 12 & Under Swimmers

• the goal for 8 & under swimmers is 1 mile (72 laps)

• the goal for 9 & 10 year old swimmers is 1.5 miles (108 laps)

• the goal for 11 & 12 year old swimmers is 2 miles (144 laps)

2:00 – 4:00 13 & Over Swimmers

• the goal for 13 & over competitive swimmers is 3 miles (216 laps)

• the goal for 13 & over leisure swimmers is 1 mile (72 laps)

How: Collect donations in advance for your participation and submit the form prior to your swim. Checks may be made out to BRS (Branford Recreational Stingrays) Entry forms are available at the YMCA front desk or for additional information contact: Tim Raynor at TmRay@aol.com

Additional Information: Raffles from area businesses, t-shirts, snacks and beverages available to purchase the day of the event. Awards given to the highest donors.
