Yale's Zampier selected in draft

Yale’s Alex Zampier was selected with the 15th pick in the eighth round of the NBA Developmental League draft by the New Mexico Thunderbirds. Rosters will be reduced from 17 players to opening-day 10-man rosters by Nov. 18 in anticipation of the Nov. 18 tip off of the NBA D-League’s 10th season.


Zampier led Yale last season with 16.0 points per game.
