University of New Haven junior Desmond Anderson has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance this past weekend.
 
The Chargers defeated the Warriors 27-25 on Saturday afternoon, improving to 7-1 on the season.


Anderson had two interceptions, increasing his season total to seven. Anderson also collected nine total tackles and one pass break up.

The Northeast-10 leading Chargers return to action on Saturday when they travel to Pace University. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Pace Field.
