In a polling of coaches from the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA), Maryland emerged as the preseason favorite for the 2010-11 season. The Terrapins, who return 20 student-athletes for the upcoming season, received 24 of an available 25 points (with four first-place votes) to beat out Oregon for the top spot.
