Walter Camp Football Foundation names officers

Alphonse Paolillo, Jr., a 15-year Walter Camp FootballFoundation member and resident of New Haven, has been re-elected as theFoundation’s President.

A financial advisor for John Hancock and a NewHaven City Alderman, Paolillo is the 25th President in Walter Camp’shistory.

Other re-elected Officers include:
John Marks of Wallingford (a member since 1992), President-Elect

James Monico of East Haven (a member since 1998), Vice President

Rob Kauffman of Woodbridge (a member since 1996), Vice President

William Raffone of North Haven (a member since 1988 and Past President,2003-05), Treasurer

Tim O’Brien of Hamden (a member since 1992), Secretary

In addition, the following six members were named to the Foundation’s Boardof Governors:

Liz Canning of Branford

Don Crouch of Wallingford

John Monico of North Haven

Mike Madera of West Haven

Tony Mortali of Branford

Mario Coppola of Milford

Plans are already underway for the 44th annual Walter Camp Weekend, scheduled for January 13-15, 2011 in New Haven.

The Walter Camp 2010 College Player of the Year recipient and its 121st All-America Team will be announced live on ESPN in early December.
