Orange softball to play for Section Title

The Orange softball team will play Fairfield Friday at 6 p.m. at Hatters Park in Danbury for the Section I title. The winner advances to next week's best-of-three state championship series. Those games will be held at Jewett City Sunday-Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Orange plays Fairfield Wednesday night in pool play, but both teams have already clinched berths.

Both teams are 3-0. Orange has outscored opponents 26-7; Fairfield 26-6.
