Monday's Best

A daily look at the best of the local sports scene ...

-- There is still plenty of women's college basketball left to be played by UConn in the state, with the Big East women's tournament in Hartford and the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament in Storrs. But Monday's game against Syracuse is the final regular season home game for the top-ranked Huskies, and the one where they will honor the seniors.

The game at Gampel Pavilion tips off at 7:30 p.m. (because of the ceremonies)
